Brow Lifts

What are browlifts, endoscopic browlifts and forehead lifts?

As many people age, the eyebrows tend to droop, especially in the outer part. This can lead to a rather ‘heavy’ and tired look to the eyes. This contributes extra skin, hanging over the upper eyelid. Lifting the eyebrows up to a more youthful position is often very effective at rejuvenating the eyes in conjunction with upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Traditionally, long incisions were made either within the scalp hair or at the junction of the hair and forehead (Forehead lift). Whilst these techniques are still good for some patients, the use of endoscopic or keyhole surgery now allows the eyebrows to be lifted with small incisions hidden within the scalp hair (Endoscopic browlift). Treatments which improve the fine lines and wrinkles between the eyes, on the forehead and crows feet can also be very rejuvenating as a sole treatment or as an adjunct to surgery.
